Rehearsals will take place once every two weeks, allowing members to practice weekly and perform together. The rehearsal times and dates will depend on the year, and it will always be posted on Google Classroom. It is based on the availability of all of the members. Sectionals and rehearsals will count towards two hours of volunteer hours.
The rehearsal location will change according to the locations the group has, however many rehearsals will most likely take place at one member's house.
Absences are required to be reported. They must be contacted ahead of time digitally using our Google Forms system, posted on Google Classroom. More information about absences are listed under "Absences Policy" in Google Classroom.
Spotlight checks/playing assignments are once a week. Students will have to take a video of themselves practicing the songs on the weekly agenda for the rehearsal that has already occurred (the weekly agendas will be posted on Google Classroom every week). This can be a 5-10 minute video posted to Google Classroom showing your practice/performance session. This will give 30 minutes for the volunteer hours, and it will be recorded. This must be checked by a section leader.
